Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is best known for her part as Skyler White on the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in the late 1970s. The theatre studies she pursued took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before taking on film and television roles. Anna's first major character was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a the highlights of her career. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play show known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
