Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. The university is renowned for her pioneering the science of eyewitness memory in children and utilizing child victims to be legal witnesses. Professor Goodman, who has many publications and many awards to her credit, is also the recipient of a variety of international and national distinctions. She has worked with many government agencies and institutions across the world on policy and research relating to children who are people who are victims of the law. She also serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and three Divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
