Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide recognition in the beginning of the 21st century. Swift's passion for music was evident at an early stage. From plays for children to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and the following year she took up guitar and began writing songs. Drawing inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of being a tween and feeling alienated. At the age of 13, Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time to courting country labels near Nashville.
